The conference has 5 sub themes: ethical challenges in the clinic: an impetus for research and education; theoretical foundations and conceptual frameworks of clinical ethics support; empirical ethics research: emerging from and informing clinical ethics practice; translating clinical ethics across global contexts; and translating clinical ethics into advocacy and policy.
